GPShopper's latest research looks at not only how consumers who own a smartphone feel about the current in-store experience, but what innovations they want retailers to incorporate – whether digital or physical.  

We found that more than a third of smartphone owners typically feel nothing when they walk into a store. Brands that fail to genuinely listen to the needs of their customers and adapt accordingly are going to be left in the dust as new upstarts lure customers over to their physical and digital doors. It’s a clear, yet complicated problem retailers need to tackle.
